Parking (as at 16 July 2012)

On street parking is restricted in this area from Monday to Saturday between 8:30-18:30 on both the east and west of Edgware Road. There are meters around the synagogue, but many are pay by phone only so it is worth registering in advance - http://www.westminster.gov.uk/transportandstreets/parking/paybyphone.cfm. Those that take cash are usually £4 per hour. Parking is free on Sundays. Please note, in Westminster Residents Parking Bays are for Residents Only 7 days per week.

In order to avoid the congestion charge you need to use Marble Arch Car park (operated by Westminster), and specifically use the Park Lane entrance/exit. Details are below

This car park has two entrances/exits: 'Park Lane' & 'Marble Arch': 

• Vehicles can ENTER and EXIT the Park Lane entrance/exit without entering the congestion zone.
• Vehicles can ENTER the Marble Arch entrance/exit without entering the zone (if driving north from Park Lane or south from Edgware Rd).
• Vehicles can EXIT the Marble Arch entrance/exit without entering the zone, but ensure you turn immediate right at the top of the ramp (i.e. do not follow the direction of the ramp) and drive east towards Cumberland Gate/Marble Arch. From there either drive north into Edgware Road or south into Park Lane.
