WLS is fortunate to have both an adult and children’s library, a small teachers’ resource collection and each of our Rabbis have rabbinic and other study materials available for loan in their offices. Books may be borrowed free of charge and the libraries are accessible whenever the building is open; the other collections are available by appointment.

The Rabbi Bob Shafritz Library, for adults is equipped with working and informal areas, a computerised catalogue and wireless internet access. We have laptop computers which can be borrowed for member’s use while in the library. The library houses a substantial collection of recently published books, mostly relating to an aspect of Jewish life or history.

The Rabbi Hugo Gryn Children’s Library is equipped with a great collection of books mostly concerned with Jewish life, history and festivals, study space with computers, and an especially designed and cushioned, readers’ tower.

The libraries focus on purchasing mainly recently published materials, and the catalogue will shortly be available online.
