Rabbi Danny received his smicha-ordination from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Los Angeles in the spring of 2009, and joined the WLS Rabbinic team in the autumn. In 2008, he received his Masters in Jewish-Christian Relations from the Centre for Jewish Christian Relations in Cambridge. Before beginning his rabbinic studies, Danny worked with the Jewish Zionist youth movements in Britain at UJIA Makor, and prior to that as a movement worker at RSY-Netzer. During the course of his Rabbinic studies, Danny interned at West London Synagogue and North Western Reform Synagogue in London, and worked as the Student Rabbi at Brith Sholem in Utah, and Temple Menorah and Kehillat Israel in California. Rabbi Danny has worked closely with the Movement for Reform Judaism for many years, most recently producing the educational resources which accompanied the new Siddur (Leading a Community in Prayer). He has also been published in European Judaism on the subject of Jewish statements on Christianity.
