Dir. Igaal Niddam 2008, Israel/Switzerland
Two long estranged brothers, one observant and the other secular, come back into contact and work out their own differences, whilst a court battle is fought over the rights of yeshiva
students to claim exemption from Army duty. The production is unsophisticated, but gives us a keen feel for the unsolved issue of separation of State and religion in Israel.
Doors open 7pm for drinks and snacks, 7.45pm screening, and admission is free, but donations towards catering are very welcome.
