Foodcycle

WLS has been partnering with St. Paul's Church for five years to run this wonderful project that provides a free community meal to about 50 people every Wednesday. Each week volunteers receive deliveries and pick up surplus food from local supermarkets, cook a tasty freshly made meal and serve it to people at St Paul's Church, Rossmore Road with the aim of combatting food waste, food poverty and social isolation.

We are always looking for new volunteers and you can sign up here

This website enables you to sign up for the sessions that suit you best as frequently as your schedule allows. It also gives you some basic training in food safety and hygiene.

We look forward to seeing you at a session but if you've questions or concerns beforehand please feel free to contact the project manager, Bill Miller.
