6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Please join us for a moving Holocaust Memorial Day service, followed by a screening of the celebrated and inspiring documentary chronicling the extraordinary life of Marika Henriques: The Chaos Dragon and the Light.

The Service begins at 6:30pm, followed by light refreshments at 7:20, film screening at 8pm, and a short discussion at 9pm.

The Chaos Dragon and the Light

As a young girl, Marika Henriques was hidden from the Nazis in a Budapest cellar. She survived the Second World War only to find herself forced to flee Communist Hungary in her early 20s. Safely in Britain, she trained as a Jungian therapist. But it was the cathartic creation of extraordinary art that helped her to process her childhood trauma over several decades. Now in her 80s, she tells her story for the first time.
