Oh, what a beautiful day! Purim at West London Synagogue is one of the highlights of our year.

This year’s Purim Spiel is Oyklahoma — our playful, musical twist on Rodgers and Hammerstein’s first classic. Before the show, join us for a Ma'ariv Service and cabaret‑style Megillah reading, with plenty of hamantaschen and jugs of our special Purim Prairie Punch.

After the Spiel, we will serve a festive buffet then turn down the lights down and dance into the night. We’ll also have a lively tombola to add to the festivities!

The evening dance party will be DJ'd by our own Jenny Browning. Jenny plays regularly with Poetic Funk and Poetic Jazz in London, regionally, and internationally and will be treating us to dance floor classics for Purim. You may recognise her as our multi-talented Rabbinic PA to our Co-Senior Rabbis.

If you’d like to join us for the buffet, booking is required — everything else is open to all. If you are not a WLS member, please fill out our visitor form in advance of your visit.

And for families with young children, we’ll be holding a Big Purim Celebration on Sunday, with a dress parade competition, giant games, puppet shows, and more.

Come celebrate the spirit of Purim with us — joy, resilience, and a night of pure celebration. Costumes encouraged!

• 7:30 PM: Buffet (booking required)
• 8:30 PM: Tombolla, Dancing and Drinks

Buffet tickets cost £30 for Members/£35 for Non-Members and include one free drink. A cash bar will also be available, serving up beer, wine, and our special Purim Prairie Punch.
