Theory of Relativity

April 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Every week until May 17, 2020

We all know the Bible stories… but… do we really ‘KNOW’ them? When did we last READ them? How do we RELATE to them?

In the Torah, and particularly in the Book of Genesis, we are introduced to an array of complex relationships. Although some of these relationships are delightful, most are dysfunctional, and some are disastrous, destructive or downright distasteful. Yet we opt to read them again and again.

Join a new weekly Zoom class with Rabbi David to examine these biblical stories through a close reading of the texts. Alongside grappling with the inter-dynamics between the characters, we will explore how these relationships have been interpreted by artists, poets, authors and film-makers.

Please email Rabbi David for the Zoom details.
