Now in its 20th year, this is a series of monthly Israeli film screenings, some of which will be UK premieres or be accompanied by a Q&A with the film Director.

We curate each year’s programme carefully so that the films we choose are remarkable in some way, and reflect current issues (such as an election in Israel) or a calendar event (such as Mental Health awareness week) or a festival (such as Succot).

The mission of Kolnoa is primarily to be educational, but it is also sociable, and entertaining, with the atmosphere of a members’ and friends’ club.

Each session (usually the second Thursday of the month) starts with a pre-screening get together over an Israeli buffet and a glass of wine, and the film is introduced, and then followed by a post screening discussion so that we all go home with food for thought.
