Marie van der Zyl OBE is about to retire as the 48th president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. When she was elected for her term in May 2018, she was only the second female president in the 264-year history of the organisation. Marie is a leading employment lawyer and is a longstanding and active member of WLS. She is the Vice President of the World Jewish Congress and their Commissioner for Gender Equality and Inclusion.

Lord Pickles is the Special Envoy for post-Holocaust issues, Co-Chair of the UK Holocaust Memorial Foundation, and Chair of The Advisory Committee on Business Appointments.
