Insight Israel: 'Oasis of Peace'

Come and join us to hear the fascinating story of Neve Shalom / Wahat Al Salam / Oasis of Peace, a village established in Israel in 1970 as a model of co-existence for Israeli Jews and Arabs. 

Now in these troubled times, the lessons learned from this project offer illuminating and sometimes challenging pointers to the way forward, as we all try to focus on a peaceful future for Israel and the Region.

We will watch a short film clip with commentary by the film maker, and be joined on zoom by the organisation’s Director in Israel, for a Q&A chaired by Rabbi Helen who is a Patron of the project.

Teas and coffees and a glass of wine will be served. No charge – all warmly welcomed.
