7:00 PM - 10:00 PMEnrolment is now open for the Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah Programme, which will run as a single term from January through April 2026 and is open to all WLS adult members who are currently preparing for a BM, or even just considering the idea. While each BM student will be on their own individual path during the preparatory process, the purpose of this programme is to embark on a joint adult BM journey in which we bring context and deeper understanding to the BM process. During the 11-week course, students will learn about the background, history and modern traditions of Bar/Bat Mitzvah and will explore and share their own reasons for deciding to become a ‘child of the commandments.’

This course will run from 7.00 pm on Wednesday evenings at WLS, beginning on 14 January 2026.
