Jo and Tirza work closely with the rabbis, offering the highest levels of support to our community family.
In addition, each of our volunteers receives on-going training and supervision to ensure the highest possible standard of appropriate support.
One of our challenges is finding out when members of the community are experiencing a crisis.
People readily share happy news, but are not always able – for a variety of reasons – to contact us in times of need. We are committed to being here for you, so you must not think twice about getting in touch if you need advice or support, or if you are concerned about another member of our community. We hold all information in the strictest confidence.
In addition to our personal support, we run a number of key support groups for our members, please see below.
Above all else, we want to make sure that no one in our community is alone, or abandoned at a time of need. We would not be able to do our critical work without the generous support of our volunteers and Social Care Patrons. Our ongoing commitment to building a caring community is something that we can never take for granted, which is why, if you would like to support us with this core mitzvah, we would love to hear from you.
If you can spare some time and would like to really make a difference, there are plenty of opportunities for you to play a part in the caring and inclusive community that we strive to be.
Lunch clubs primarily for the active retired no age restriction and everyone is very welcome!
For our senior members, offering them an opportunity to socialise with other members of the community.
Above all else, we want to make sure that no one in our community is alone, or abandoned at a time of need.
We offer a complete caring and safe environment in which to share issues in total confidence with people who understand what you are going through.
